It is a spooky day today and I am very su-paw-sitious so I have decided to spend all day in hiding but I thought it was my duty now that I am older and wiser to pass on some words of warning…Henrietta thinks I am behaving like a puppy as she was born on Friday the 13th so for her its a lucky day- but I am not taking any chances! Here are my top tips…
1. Do not walk under any ladders..or over any ladders OR play with any ladders just in case!

2. Make sure you don’t break any mirrors whilst admiring yourself…
4. Avoid solitary magpies at all costs and do not let them chase you!
5. Do not open any umbrellas indoors…
6. Last but not least…if you see one of these evil creatures black felines crossing your path, do not chase them, just run!
This is Lily reporting from under the bed- good luck to all my canine and feline friends!

Katy and Anita have both returned from Thailand!
Katy made a new friend in Thailand called Dumbo. She is now determined for us to make an Organic and Holistic food for elephants but having researched their eating habits, I don’t think it would be possible to fit 270 KG ( their daily food intake) of bark, fruit and leaves in to one of our tins!
We are now stocking our food at Daylesford Farm and they really know how to put up a display! Glyn was down at the farm yesterday on his Birthday ( what dedication!!) and took some lovely photos for us. We plan on surprising him with a cake when he next visits the office.
Henrietta and Lily have been hard at work in the kitchen making Heston Blumenthal look lazy and have concocted some delicious new recipes..including a new treat which is not bone shaped, not oval shaped, but flower shaped!
Every week in the office we wonder what lovely gift we will receive from a happy customer and we are constantly being surprised! We have been sent some wonderful artwork, a CD, some shampoo for Lily and yesterday we received a brilliant poem- check it out on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/lilyskitchen
